A One Page Website is All You Need to Start Making Money Online

Building your own website for the purpose of making money online is not as difficult as you think.

Call me cheap, but I'll always look for ways to do things for free. Maybe it's good business sense, because I think of things in term of ROI (Return on Investment) and I know that I'm going to be putting in some time in directing traffic to the site. I do consider my time to be valuable. After all, aren't we doing this to have more free time while getting the bills paid?

Many people new to the work of eCommerce make the mistake of thinking that if you build it, they will come. Not so! Websites require traffic to be profitable and employing traffic-getting techniques can be confounding for the uninitiated.

In this blog we're going to look at ways to get that site up and drive traffic to it. For sure, this is a numbers game. The more targeted traffic you get to your site, the more sales you'll make. Plain and simple.

I'll be showing you how to get this traffic, but first things first, you'll need to decide what your market or niche is. This is an all important step in the process.

As a seasoned internet marketer, I cringe when I see people new to the business (and that's what it is) go for the biggest markets online, e.g. Weight Loss, Dating, Make Money Online, etc. and expect that something will miraculously happen and the cash will start flowing in.

It doesn't work that way.

One more word of caution (and I have many of them) avoid the bright shiny objects; the sites that promise your own personal ATM or instant wealth. If you are starting out, there's absolutely no way of taking advantage of most of the information they offer. You're going to have to learn new skills and there's no escaping this fact!

Having said that, if you follow a system that already works and that teaches you all of the basic skills, you can make money online.

I can make money online.
I am willing to learn new skills.
I will apply the skills I learn.
I will not waste my money on promises of instant, work-free wealth.
